With an employee base consisting of experienced engineers, building scientists, and environmental specialists, CCI provides a full scope of engineering services across the life cycle of a building.

Orbit Garant Drilling Inc. Val-d'Or, Quebec
Garant Drilling, acquired in 2006, was a leading underground drilling company servicing the Canadian mining industry. In January of 2007, Garant merged with Orbit Drilling to form Orbit Garant Drilling, and has grown into one of the largest Canadian-based drilling companies servicing the domestic and international mining industry. The Company provides underground core drilling, surface core drilling and surface reverse circulation drilling with over 136 drills and 500 employees. Orbit Garant completed its initial public offering in June, 2008 and trades on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol “OGD.” James C. Johnson continues to serve as chairman.

Gesco Industries Inc. Brampton, Ontario
Founded in 1938, Gesco is one of Canada's leading national floor covering distributors. Through its operating division, Gesco Limited Partnership (Shnier), the company distributes a wide variety of flooring products including resilient sheet, resilient tile, linoleum, ceramic tile, stone and marble, hardwood, cork, laminate, carpets, area rugs, carpet cushions and underlayment, under both proprietary and licensed brands. Shnier sells its value-added products and services to 4,000 independent retailers, builders, merchandising groups, big box retailers as well as lumber and building chains. Shnier employs over 250 people and operates out of five distribution facilities located in Brampton, Calgary, Vancouver, Montreal and Dartmouth as well as its showroom in Winnipeg.
