Mayank Chadha, Partner
Mayank joined Signal Hill in May of 2013. He previously worked in McKinsey and Company’s manufacturing center of competence, where he designed and implemented several operational and manufacturing improvements across various industries including chemicals, automotive and pharmaceuticals. Prior to that, he worked in manufacturing roles at Cummins Inc. and Rockwell Industries where he led several lean manufacturing and process improvement projects.
Mayank holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University, Canada. He also holds a Master of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Rackham Graduate School at the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from VIT University in India.
Artur Hausz, Vice President - Portfolio
Artur has worked with Signal Hill since 2015. He has over 15 years of experience in corporate finance, business development, public and private company reporting, operational improvements, as well as budgeting, planning & analysis and treasury & risk management. Artur was previously the Chief Financial Officer of C&V Portable Accommodations ("C&V"), where he enhanced visibility of divisional profitability, reduced costs and improved working capital.
Prior to C&V, Artur held several progressively senior roles at Cinram International. Most recently, Artur was Cinram's Vice President of Treasury & Financial Planning. He was responsible for leading business acquisitions, post-acquisition integration, asset divestitures, credit facility management and global reporting.
Artur holds a Masters of Finance (M.Fin.) from Queen's University's Smith School of Business, as well as an M.B.A. and a B.B.A. from Northwood University. Artur is also a Certified Public Accountant.
Akhil Gupta, Senior Associate - Operations
Akhil joined Signal Hill in May of 2014. He brings with him over five years of strategy consulting experience across multiple sectors including: automotive, consumer products, telecom, energy, manufacturing and education. He has advised senior executives of leading multinational companies, from North America and Europe, on developing and implementing strategies in emerging markets. He has also set up offices on a "turn-key" basis for several multinational companies in emerging markets of Asia.
Akhil holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, and obtained his Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering from IIT-Varanasi in India.
Vivek Sankaralingam, Operations Associate
Vivek joined Signal Hill in June 2014 after graduating with an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. He previously worked as a SAP Functional Consultant, specializing in the utility sector, helping companies in the process of business transformation as they transitioned to new systems and processes. Prior to that he worked in the telecommunication industry where he helped telecom service providers enhance their network capabilities through improved forecasting, planning and network management.
Vivek also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from McGill University.
Sundri Sengupta, Vice President of Human Resources – Talent
Sundri joined in October 2012 as Director of Human Resources – Talent for Signal Hill Equity Partners and their portfolio of companies across Canada. Sundri has over 12 years of experience in developing and integrating HR solutions, to fully leverage human capital and increase organizational effectiveness.
Sundri’s career in Human Resources and Talent Acquisition has spanned across local and international businesses. Starting with Talent Acquisition initiatives for companies like Pepsi, Citi Bank, Phillips,IBM in Dubai, UAE, Sundri further progressed her HR career within the engineering ,manufacturing and pharmaceutical industries in Canada. Most recently, Sundri worked for over five years with a global financial solutions provider, G4S Cash Solutions as National Human Resources and Recruitment Manager managing HR and Talent Acquisition initiatives across Canada. Her functional area of expertise lies in the areas of Talent Acquisition/Talent Management, organizational development, succession planning and the development of Human Resources policies and procedures.
Sundri has Bachelor's degrees in both English (Honors) and Education and is a post-graduate in Human Resources Management from Sheridan Institute of Technology.
